Artwork Description:
Please note that this etching is shipped and sold to the buyer without a frame or mat. This keeps the price reasonable and also allows the collector a wide range of choice in framing selection. For shipment, a sturdy cardboard box is employed. The etching is first wrapped in two layers of acid free glassine and then placed between two archival boards. This is next placed into the shipping box and securely packed with bubble wrap. The price includes packaging and handling, but shipment costs are added. Shipment not included in price. This etched image on a zinc-plate plate is four inches wide by six highs high, and it is executed in oil-based, French etching inks and printed on RivesBFK white paper. The print size is ten inches by eleven inches. The image was adapted from a British poster circa 1900 from a southern beach-side resort, where Punch and Judy shows were part of the popular culture of the day. Hand printed by artist at Center for Works on Paper, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
