“Medusa” is associated with Greek mythology A mythological woman with venomous snakes in place of hair. Medusa has been portrayed by Leonardo di Vinci, Caravaggio or Salvadore Dali. My design of “Medusa” is based on the traditions of the old era through its traditional form with strong expressionism, which is part of the language of modern art. As a processual object, the sculpture reveals to us a new face. It is an artifact of both traditional forms such as the old masters and modern forms because of the multiplicity which the character has. I chose a chrome aluminum base so that the mood or the expressions of the piece can change depending on exposure of light and the viewing angle. “Medusa” is made in aluminum. 46” x 38.5” x 17.71” 116cm x 97.79cm x 44cm , 112kg.
