Artwork Description:
I got the idea for this piece from the poem I wrote. it says, I hammered and sawed aimless through the night, each nail like a war, with battle ships sunk, the sawdust as useless as bullets struck. So I made the piece based on the poem. And the baseball indi ate that when you spend so much on war you will have little left of fun times. I named the ship after one of my favorite artists, H. C. Westermann as he carved ships like this for some of his pieces. And the lamp does work.
