Artwork Description:

Endymon was the young Greek man that fell in love with the moon. this alabaster torso is reaching for the object of his obsession. Because the veining of the alabaster interfered with the classical form of the male, I painted the stone and then waxed the surface. The feel of the surface is almost like skin. It is mounted on a painted steel base.
