Artwork Description:

Two massive poplar treesLiriodendrum Tulipifera- often called tulip trees, or tulip poplarswere taken down to build an apartment building near my work. I acquired much of the wood and over time, converted it to timber. This piece is made from that timber. Poplar s Latin name and the geolocation data are engraved upon a horizontal beam in honor of such two grand life forms that were so frivolously eliminated to make room for rentals.
