Artwork Description:
Continuation of the Contaminated Water series with this piece reflecting the muck that is the bottom of many lakes that started their lives as swamps and marshes, but due to man�s influence and desire for deep lakes for fish and recreation, have become lakes they were not meant to be. Artwork is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
Exhibition History --Arts in Harmony 2011 16th Annual International Fine Art Exhibition, Sherburne County Government Center, Elk River, Minnesota. February 7, 2011 to March 24, 2011. One of 220 selected artworks from a pool of 855. Jurors are Lyndell King, director and chief curator of the Weisman Art Museum at the University of Minnesota and Barbara Schulz, Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
