Watercolor is the best medium to create a variety of spontaneous marks, washes and gestures. Small marks are drawn back on the vital works of water to enhance a mystical cosmological world. Cut-out images serve as a passage to this imaginary space. The realistic cut-out images and the graphical drawings are interlaced with the cosmological space creating an interesting visual adventure. The careening of the different directions and spaces are held within the silhouette of the paper doll outfits. Paper dolls were popular childrens playmates decades ago. They intend to merge a diversity of visual spaces on one hand while on the other revives another place in time.
