I ve never skied before At the slopes crown it was pure panic As I pushed off many were watching Apparently they had heard my comments Whoa Picking up speed my legs parted Thought I d split my pants Getting up, the slope looked steep Other skiers kept a safe distance Down I went, trying to keep skis together Faster and faster, as I passed others Tried to turn, it was a mistake As I tumbled down icy slope
