Artwork Description:

Fremantle on the mouth of the Swan river is a busy seaport adjacent to Perth the capital of Western Australia. Fremantle is also a vibrant fishing port and offers an enviable lifestyle to its residents. Ship repair facilties are part of this scene and are the subject of this tugboat in for repairs. The bright red of the boat out of the water presented a contrast to the blue sky and surroundings. It seemed to have a stately dignity sitting there with its undersides exposed but you almost could hear it saying I can't wait to get back into the water
