Artwork Description:

Each day in Zadar I would hike down to the sear to paint watercolors. We were staying in an apartment belonging to the Director of the Croatian National Archive Josep Kolanovich. We'd been invited by his daughter Dubravka who is a children's book artist. They gave us the keys to their summer condo in Zadar where we spent a week. I made this sunset painting and another which was given to the director as a token of our gratitude for the use of his apartment in Zadar.
