Artists Describing Their Art:
Ellen E Hinson - My love of nature and the world we live in is demonstrated by the works of art that I paint. I use oils and watercolor and also love photography. I have been painting for many years, have taken various art instruction courses, but my training is mostly self-taught. I love to paint realistic animals and landscapes, but once in a while I will deviate to the whimsical painting....
Lesta Frank - I paint the figure, color drenched in layers of metaphor. My work is about showing people experiencing moments of Self awareness and inner connectivity to our true nature. The excitement and awe found in creating art is a life-long continuation of my first adventure with finger painting as a young child. I am interested in combining realistic imagery with abstract shapes, in a shallow picture plane , The painting surfaces are enriched with layers of texture and pattern, using combinations of watermedia and collage, and the use of stencils, stamps and epoxy resin. ...

Dario Raffaele Orioli - A painting, statue or other work of art speaks best for itself, without superfluous words, but to say a few words about my opinion about art. Art allows us to live, differently at different periods stages of life. Different already in character, temperament of each individual. Through art I seek man Of course, many painters run away from looking for a man because it is a painstaking job, so it is easier for them to end up in abstractions, concepts, etc. under the pretext that it is modern.Abstraction is a trip to the unknown, but after many years of such a trip to the unknown, one gets tired and realizes that he needs the peace and stability he can find in the knowledge of the world around him, which is right outside of him and if he knows how to look, he can think through it enjoy it here and now There is a saying that every living being is a snapshot of nature towards man, this can be applied to art ....Any abstraction is an artists shot at figuration.... Of course it can be the other way around, but what a world this would be if it were ...
Gopal Weling - Thoughts...the basic thing of any human being whether it's child in the arms of a mother or a old human sleeping on the bed waiting for the last minute....thoughts which can travel faster than anything....thoughts which leads to inventions...thoughts which can lead to destruction or thoughts which can bring a revolution... My paintings are presentation of spontaneity & my thoughts...thoughts flowing through the mind...through the life...through the experience & liveliness coming through spontaneity Colors....flows through the inner circles of mind...which reflects the dimensions of the thoughts that are traveling in a wavelength matching to the spontaneity of thoughts... ...Gopal Weling...
Joanna Batherson - My inspiration for art has come from drawing and the nature surrounding our world. Pim Van Der Wel - Pim van der Wel (1950) combines the art of making watercolours with his work as a business economist. After lessons in all the basic drawing techniques by two Dutch painters in the periods 1980/1987 and 1994/1996 he specialised himself in watercolours. Watercolour offers hardly any limitations, so he can show what he likes and that is light and shadow in dents, creases and gloss etc. His objects are sports (mainly football), cans, torsos, animals (cows, sheep, dogs and chicken). In the last 10 years his work has been shown at (group-)exhibitions in the Netherlands. Some galleries have his works permanently in stock. ...
