Artwork Description:
The Walk was inspired by the thatched sun house in my own garden which is surrounded by Japanese maples and other trees. I have placed the sun house at the end of a winding path that leads the eye through the rolling hills toward the peaceful haven at the end of the journey. The walk is made from coloured gloss ceramic tiles with a contrasting dark grout to highlight the colours. The piece is finished with a narrow black wooden frame. Fittings are not supplied with the walk to enable the owner to choose how it is fitted so that it matches the ambience of their chosen location in their property. The walk can easley be fitted to the owners requirements by a competent person using appropriate fittings for the piece and wall construction,The walk is constructed on 18mm multi bonded plywood substrate.
