Artwork Description:

Abstract on illustration board explores my interest in color and texture, and how they influence one another. In this painting, inky green and teal backgrounds are separated by a horizontal band of clear green and a paper collage square in yet another shade of green. The top edge of the square is torn to reveal the paper’s layers. The paper’s torn white edge and the thick line of orange paint anchoring the three elements elements add texture and color contrast. Wood frame is finished in gold foil patina.
