Artwork Description:

Abstract on illustration board explores my interest in color and texture, and how they influence one another and the viewer. In this painting a dark green background is overlaid with a strip of paper painted a lighter shade of flat green and torn to create contrast and texture. The image is topped by a a square in a yet lighter shade of green that anchors all four layers. Wood frame is finished in gold foil patina.
