Artwork Description:

One in a series of abstracts on illustration board that explore my interest in how colors affect one another and the viewer. This painting uses a strong streak of gold to separate a background of purple and blue, reminiscent of a night sky over a dark inky-blue sea. Three torn-paper collage layers in reds add texture, color, interest and depth. Wood frame is finished in gold foil patina.
