Artwork Description:
The central idea of this painting is to point out how craving for power is definitely degrading the essence of any human being. Instead of co-existence of balanced values and certain moral limits there is the tendency to differentiate excessively and create abysmal differences, as far as craving for achange is replaced by craving for a command. The idea is being stressed by the composition, that has its dominating feature in the diagonal (leading from the left upper corner to the right bottom one, which can represent - in ageneral view - the fall or to be more specific, the decadence). The ants reflect ageneralized society, the yellow line intersecting the painting stands for uniformity (tie) and the black dots inside the red are akind of visualized thought of narrow-mindedness and incommunicativeness. There is also revolution mentioned in the title, for which ultra-solutions are natural. Basically anunhealthy disruption can occur in such borderline situations, when the purpose is being substituted by inadequate means.
