Artwork Description:

I love painting bottles due to the reflective lights and colours. This wine bottle had a vintage look to it so that is why I decided to paint it. Wine bottles remind me of special events and fellowship with love ones. I like painting food which wine is can be considered food. My goal when painting food is to stimulate the viewer’s senses of sight, taste, smell, and touch through realism and amplified colours. I wanted my viewers to “taste it with their eyes” which then triggers physical and emotional sensations causing hunger, thirst, joy, excitement, comfort, and perhaps guilt or regret.
