Artwork Description:

This painting was done in Appleton, Wisconsin, on Jan.12, 1972, the 17th painting of mine since I turned pro in December of 1970. It is a very, very early work. Hence the amount of the price. Not many early works of this era are still available although current owners of others might we willing to sell. An interested buyer would have to contact such owners himself. This painting is also significant because it is referenced by a much later painting entitled Hats. Woodscape is currently strip-framed with lattice painted black. Date of signature is 1-12-72.
