I KNOW IT.. YET IT THROWS ME EVERY TIME, REALIZe, WHAT IMPORTANCE LIGHTING HAS WITH ART WORKS.. THE WAY I LOOK AT MY LIGHTING AT THIS HOUSE, I CAN ONLY SAY IT LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED.... SO, NO MATTER, WHERE AN ART PIECE IS.. IT DEPENDS ON LIGHTING TO SHOW HUES ETC. THE COLLECTOR/OWNER OF AN ART PIECE PREFERS .. I WAS CALLED TO SEVERAL OF MY COLLECTORS TO ASSIST, WITH LOCATION AND LIGHTING.. AND WORKED OUT GREAT.. LOCATION USUALLY THEIR PREFERANCE, AND LIGHTING WITH VARIETY OF APPROACHES.. I OFTEN LIKE VERY MUCH FROM BOTTOM PART UPWARDS.. DEPENDS.. SURROUNDINGS AFFECT MY LIGHT-APPROACH TOO.. WHEN I WORKED AS GALLERY PERSON, HANGING THE ARTWORKS OF OTHER ARTISTS, I USUALLY WOULD TAKE THE PIECE OUTSIDE AND ADMIRE.. AS WELL AS LOOK AT HUES AND FORMS, THAT THE ARTIST SEEMED TO BRING FORWARDS.. OR WANTED TO EMPHASIZE.. CAN SEE THAT IN THE WORKS.. SPECIALLY WHEN FAMILIAR WITH THEM.. THEN FIND THE SO CALLED RIGHT PLACE FOR THIS PIECE.. ANY ONES ART PIECE.. TOOK ME FOREVER.. OFTEN DAYS.. TO HANG A SHOW.. OR PERSONAL EXHIBIT.. OR WINDOW EXPOSURE.. HOURS AND HOURS.. CORE EYE VERY CRITICAL.. AS WELL AS APPROACH TO WORK.. SO MANY LAYERS IN MY WORK HERE, THAT I HAVE A CHALLENGE, TO BRING ACROSS HUES JUST SO.. CAMERA PULLS BENEATH LAYERS OUT OFTEN TOO STRONG FOR MY LIKING.. BUT.. IT IS GOING TO MOVE INTO AN UNKNOWN DIRECTION.. SPECIALLY SINCE TWO-VIEW POSSIBILITIES.. WANT TO CREATE A SMALL SERIES- NO FACIAL IMAGES.. WILL SEE, IF MOOD DICTATES ..
