This painting is about the relationship between he (or she) who dominates and who is dominated. The image was inspired by a saying in Portuguese "She made her own bed", which is applied when one considers someone responsible for her own fate. I purposely chose a calm composition, because, in this case, domination was achieved with no strife. Denise Quadrado Collection.
