Artwork Description:
In one and the same work two opposites of painting are merged - abstract and figurative art. The abstract art intends to exclude any possible association to the object. Putting the concrete figurative content into the abstract frame its meaning has been annulled. As a result I have obtained special “paintings in paintings’’. In a certain way I wanted to make “unobservable” paintings. Or to simply make it harder to perceive them thanks to ambiguous composition of great amount of visual information. In that way the works achieve certain hypnotic effect, the observer would be immersed in the picture and would have to dwell upon observing it as well as interpreting it.
