Artwork Description:

This SIX PLATE etching takes its inspiration from the Ingmar Bergman film, THE SEVENTH SEAL. The techniques used include intaglio, drypoint, and aquatint. The work is executed in a rich violet mix of oil based inkson Rives BFK cream paper, both manufactured in France. The image is etched on six individual zinc plates, which each measure3 inches high, 7.6 cm, by 2 inches wide, 5 cm. A small space separates each plate. The work was hand printed and published by the artist at The Center for Works on Paper in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. MAT AND FRAME INCLUDED.
