Helen Purcell - Early Life Helen has been painting most of her life and is largely self-taught. After studying at school in Burnley, Lancashire, she went on to pursue other avenues of interest, but always continued to paint and draw for pleasure. Graduating in Primary Education, she qualified as a Primary School Teacher. Following this she worked in varying roles in manufacturing, all of which she believes taught her to value the excitement in artistic expression and to communicate in a very honest, direct style. It has been described that her paintings'bring much pleasure to the eye, and are a talking point.' New Developments This year, as Helen made the leap from acrylic pop art into other avenues, interest in her style of work grew. She has, since then successfully sold abstract paintings in acrylic medium and commission pieces in oils. Her new skill in oil medium is an addition to her portfolio and the result of a natural creative development, as Helen continues to challenge herself and push her own artistic and technical boundaries. Her vibrant, striking, but delicate effects capture the soul and personality of her subjects; they produce bold and exciting original paintings. ...
Jamie Boyatsis - Abstract artist who graduated from Keene State College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. Painting is my medium of choice, though I find myself using mixed media, I like to recycle materials into my artwork and blend realistic and abstract images into my artwork. ...
Lazaro Hurtado - Lazaro Hurtado is an artist currently living in Buenos Aires, were he works . Since early childhood he have the overwhelming need to create and explore the reality in a personal way. So thats how he would spend his afternoons after school , making mud sculptures and giving life to them by putting live insects inside . Seeing entire landscapes and beens on the moisture of the walls, feeling himself carried inside those worlds. He states than more than an artist, he is a thinker. His paintings and artworks are the projection of his mind process . The spectators would often find themselves been tickle by the ideas and concepts on reality and human behaviour that he seems to contemplate and rebuilt on his mind. The images you see are the working mechanics of a brain on a mind made world... ...
