Dario Binetti - Dario Binetti, born in Brindisi in 1964, began to cultivate his interest in photography during the first years of high school, developing his knowledge of darkroom techniques, parallel to his passion for black and white. In 1986, after having obtained his degree in Information Sciences, at the University of Bari, further deepens the techniques of developing and printing in the darkroom, together with the photographic research on Black and White, which from that moment on he will never abandon, making it his own photographic style, which still today distinguishes him with his own works. In 1992, his first photographic exhibition was set up in Bari, at the Antonelli Gallery, entitled Living among the Sassi. That work by Binetti is considered the last documentation of the Sassi di Matera area, before the tourist development, which will take place in the following years. During the 90s, he participated in numerous seminars and workshops dedicated to photography, held by leading names in international photographic culture, such as Gianni Berengo Gardin, Letizia Battaglia, Ferdinando Scianna, Franco Fontana, RenA" Burri, Wim Wenders, Paola Bergna , Mario Cresci and others.
