Jacqui Uza - As artist and designer of these vintage inspired evening bags,my lifelong pursuits of knitting,jewelry design,travel and history have conspired to turn a hobby into a passion to carry on this timeless art.Having graduated from the University of Windsor with a degree in sociology and following a career as a market researcher in private industry,I could little predict that my personal interests would lead to further careers which would include gemological studies and fashion accessory design resulting in an obsession with the old Art of Bead Knitting.I have been exhibiting for the last 14 years at various venues distinguished by their contrast in genres,from Art and fashion shows to wedding,gift and womens shows.My wish and hope is that these19th century stylized purses will continue to be heirlooms for future generations...
