Artwork Description:   FRAMED PHOTO MANIPULATED PRINT I am fascinated by the fact of just how many African Tribes are able to beautifully adorn their bodies with the most simple of things. Often with no more than items from nature to come up with unbelievably stunning results. Perhaps my favorite of these adornments are done by The Omo Valley People who are famous for decorating their faces, head and body with the twigs, pods, fruits etc from nature. This work is of a young girl from the Mursi tribe in Ethiopia, and I’ve blended a brightly colored preening Flamingo onto her head like an exotic head dress. The work is offered as a single original full size aluminum metal photo print 30” x 45” in size. Aluminum Metal Prints, are a great contemporary material on which to print artworks, such as this digital work of art. Simply because of the stunning results that the metal gives.  The. dyes used in the printing are directly infused into the specially coated aluminum sheets and this gives a  breathtaking luminescence to the work. With this process, all of the colors and details in the work become much more vibrant. and at the same time the process also gives the work incredible depth. A sheet of 12” thick , premium non-reflective acrylic covers the face of the metal print to complete the presentation. It is attached to the wall with 4 Stylish Stainless SteelMounting Posts at each corner. All of the framing materials have been carefully chosen to compliment and enhance the finished print, so that it results in a cohesive and unique work of art. This work is shipped in a wooden crate with all the necessary mounting hardware attached so that it can be hung right after removing it from it’s crate.
