Artwork Description:
This triple monoprint was executed in three separate stages the first in black wood block ink rolled onto treated seal hair, the second in yellow silkscreen ink rolled onto plexiglass, and the last in wood-block ink rolled onto a body-casting material. All inks were water-based paper was French RivesBFK white.
The title is a play on words and originates from a mystical and brilliant literary work by a Jewish Spanish mystic of the 13th Century, Moses Maimonides. Please note that this etching is shipped and sold to the buyer without a frame or mat. This keeps the price reasonable and also allows the collector a wide range of choice in framing selection. For shipment, a sturdy cardboard box is employed. The etching is first wrapped in two layers of acid free glassine and then placed between two archival boards. This is next placed into the shipping box and securely packed with bubble wrap. The price does NOT shipment costs to the collector.
