Ekaterina Nikidis - I always emphasise the decorative side of my artworks. But as is often the case in life, behind the luxury cover there is something that one had particularly carefully wanted to hide. The beauty captured in my artworks has never existed aEUR" it is just a game of consciousness transferred to the material. It is an illusion created with a longing for the past or the never-past. The figures are connected by thin threads of mutual stories. I suggest to the viewer discover them. In my artworks, I explore the phenomenon of human identification including self-identification through the objects of the material world created or used by them. The study of the person - artefacts link led me to the series that depicts the surrounding objects as independent players involved in the story. So, my practice is a journey between eternity and a moment, light and shadow, history and the present day, matter and illusion. Its an endless exploration of different spaces, the essence of things, and the depth of human minds....

Maria Natoli - Maria Natoli is an artist from Poland who was born wit a passion for painting and drawing. In the 1970s she graduated from Design at The School of Fine Art in Wroclaw-Poland. She had studying Design, Painting and Drawing at The School of Fine Art in Poland. The artist works with graphite, oils, pastels and photography as well. Maria had received a few awards in The United States till now. She says The world is creative and my sub-consciousness has no limit, so I am emotionally and energetically related to the source of life, colors, lights and non predictable human nature. Among these proposals from the world, I search for the truth about me in the context of nature and existence. I paint the beauty of the human soul, determination of life, beauty and music of the world where on canvas these values penetrate each other in perfect harmony. ...

Wendy Goerl - Time governs both my subject and my style. I am attracted to subjects in ephemeral states--the fall color that will be gone next week, the carnival that will move on in a few days, the kaleidoscopic sunset that will fade in a few minutes--and often revisit subjects to explore how they change through time. My style comes out of an ongoing negotiation between my desire to capture every hyperrealitisc detail and my fear that I'll rework a painting to destruction trying to resolve miniscule innacuracies that become amplified as I add increasing detail. The point of compromise is as individual as the subjects I paint. I work a la prima as much as I can, because the more time between the first and last strokes of a painting, the more likely I am to change modes at sometime during the creation....

Devon Henderson - Devon Rose Henderson Artist's Statement " The closer to the Grave we go, the more we see with God's eye, for like the pine tree from the cone, we see the purpose of things that grow from the smallest signs"-Keith Henderson I have always had a strong interest in Modern/Contemporary artists such as Thomson, Harris, Van Gogh, Andrew Wyeth, Alex Colville and April Gornik. What draws me to these artists is their interest in the capture of light and shadow, movement and stillness, detail and the element of the spiritual within nature. One sees within their work, reverence for the elements of nature and an elusive something unseen beyond nature. What distinguishes their art is purposeful selection, the underlying consciousness, order, and judgement their sense of purposeful selection presupposes, the same unseen qualities that quicken their concept of nature. Such artists do not only "hold the mirror to nature" as William Shakespeare suggests, but reach outward to touch what Shakespeare called "the divinity that shapes our end." My current series of paintings are worked in acrylic on canvas. They focus on the haunting ephemeral quality of the land which surrounds my community and the transience of clouds ...

Martin Whittam - Martin Thomas Whittam B.A. Hons. Liverpool P.G.C.S.E., A.T.D. Martin was born in Radcliffe, Lancashire, England, in 1961. After studying Fine Art at Liverpool Art School he pursued a career in education, teaching for thirty three years in inner city Manchester ,working for The Bahamas Ministry of Education and eventually becoming the Head of Art and Design at an independent Grammar School in Cheshire. He has now retired from teaching and paints full time. Martins fascination for exploring every aspect of watercolour and acrylic painting, his skills of draughtsmanship, precision, accuracy, detail and unique, quirky style combined with his deep affection for the North West of England, have resulted in his paintings being commissioned and purchased for private collections in this country and abroad. His work hangs in private collections across the world including The UK,Jersey, Australia, New Zealand, USA,Hawaii, Canada, Mexico,South Korea, Norway, Sweden, Israel, France, Spain, Germany, Poland, Greece, Switzerland , Iceland, Malta, Thailand, U.A.E., Singapore and Ireland ...

Leslie Abraham - I celebrate life in painting, finding joy in my continuous development. I discovered myself in painting and learned to use my hand as a tool in each moment that I cant put into words. Through my painting, I make known to others my innermost feelings. I build my own universe in my mind, putting everything I care for in my canvas. Each day I always look forward to painting something new, something beautiful in everything I see, the emotions that come with it. My goal is to inspire others who see my work, to give them the same warm feeling that I feel every time I hold my paintbrushes. ...
