Teresa Peterson - Teresa Peterson is a freelance artist, specializing in realistic paintings of animals and nature. My website offers custom pet portraits. I work with most mediums, the main being acrylic paint, oil paint, watercolor, and ink. I have painted many animals in many paints, and scenery in acrylic and oil....
Rajni Ayapilla - I have always been interested in Artworks since childhood. However finding a platform for artists was always difficult. With a little knowledge I managed to open my webstore. I have started here with a beautiful Indian Painting of Radha Krishna and I hope I can submit more in future. ...
Michael Navascues - WELCOME TO THE PORTFOLIO OF MICHAEL NAVASCUES In recent years I have returned to a childhood joy of painting, which I relate to an abiding love of nature and the world's great artists. My work is inspired by places, scenes, and experiences where I have lived and traveled--North Carolina, New England, Germany, Spain, etc. I paint landscapes, waterscapes, gardens--and sometimes, people, buildings, and animals. All my life I have been fascinated by the beautiful changing colors, the light, and the infinite forms in Nature. In my paintings--oils, watercolors, acrylics--I try to capture these meditative moments, and the subtle feelings, moods, and spiritual hints that a scene may awaken in me and the viewer. My work has been exhibited in many local galleries, including three solo shows....
Stjepan Perkovic - Ive always felt the strong need to express myself, to connect with people and the world around me. During childhood, playing with toys, I developed the ability of using legs. Later, first unconsciously, I tried to find the meaning in my physical situation. Eventually I discovered painting. Color is the most important guide in my artistic life. I let the colors to live on my paintings and to lead me to the next level. For me color itself is the ideal I try to reach and communicate with the help of my paintbrush. That process is a constant conversation, starting from the first brushstroke through the reaction that colors induce, leading me to the realization of the painting. Working with children is also very important to me. Children are very interested in my way of painting, they watch carefully when I prepare my palette and suddenly they stop noticing my wheelchair and start to enjoy art. They want to paint using their feet and they are curious about the result. It is very important for me to tear down prejudices in those little people, help them to develop tolerance and creativity in everything they want to do in the future....
John Hopper - Although my medium of choice is watercolor, I do oils and acrylics. I find watercolor more exciting, more FUN, and I tend to experiment with technique in watercolor, where I tend to vary my subject matter in other medium. I am a photographer also, however, I see photography as capturing a moment in time with everything static, where in painting, even representational, you put your experiences, history, your entire person into the painting. You bring together your sense of what youve painted aEUR" and hope that the viewer can feel some of that aEUR" along with, and more important, their sense of their own experiences mirrored in the painting. I love what I paint and have FUN expressing that love....
