William Christopherson - The viewer sees a finished canvas. The artist relishes its journey of creation. A thought, a feeling, an experience, a place. These are the most essential of supplies as the artist tasks to expand, explore, and evolve along the path. All are welcome here, to view, appreciate contemplate, and possess the journeys I have made, and the journeys yet to come. Over the past several years I have explored the oil medium, borrowing technique from both historical and present day impressionism. Barry Greff - ARTIST STATEMENTS Atmosphere Ethereal Sea and Landscapes In a time of great challenge throughout our world, I seek to capture, and foster preservation of, the spectacular natural beauty that still exists on Earth. My mother, also an artist, indroduced me in a playful way into the world of art and ever since my passion (and sometimes obsession) for the arts has never left. In my teens, I dedicated my free time to the arts-I spend a lot of time painting with acrylics, doing photography and ceramics. Between the years 1992 and 1998 I traveled a lot. I visited France, Italy, Spain, Greece, the Netherlands, Malta, England, Monaco, the Czech Republic and Austria and got a lot of inspiration and ideas out of these trips. I also chose Fine Arts as a major course in High-School and attended a variety of art courses, workshops and seminars. After High-School and an ecological volunteer year in Cuba I wanted to study fine arts. My decision was influenced by my trip to Cuba, where I had met the Angolan artist Nelson Da Costa (DA'COSTA-
Leonard Parker - Dr. Leonard W. Parker's artistic style lends realism to his landscapes and seascapes by viewing both from a distance or up close! As a university professor, he has grasped the techniques of oil painting from his own personal research and study. His works have been displayed locally, but his desire is to gain wider notariety. Parker has adopted the phrase "'Scapes in oil" to tell both buyers and sellers that his greatest love is representing as real as possible God's wonderful world in which we live! One would desire to display his landscapes and seascapes in a variety of settings. Dr. Parker also has had commissioned art from photographs. Buyers of his artwork have come to cherish their original oil painting on canvas as heirlooms. ...
