Sharon Ebert - I paint because I love it! Born and raised in Chicago I now live in Fiji, in the heart of the South Pacific which has given me a kind of peace and tranquility that I discovered living on the ocean, along with elevating my sense of humor. I paint what I see and feel, always experimenting with new impressions that I put on canvas. I like to call my work "Gentle Surreal Escapes". I hope my paintings are enjoyed as much as I enjoy creating them....

Oleg Tarasov - My path to pinhole has been long. I had been photographing for 20 years, trying to make photos that embodied the beauty of the world. Sometimes I was successful, sometimes not, but I didn't feel fully engaged in my photography. I felt that I wanted to make meaningful photographs, so I began to really work at it. I shot hundreds of rolls of film and made thousands of digital exposures. I did what thousands of other photographers have done and made photographs like thousands of others . But that's not what I wanted. So I came to pinhole. Pinhole is my way to show the true condition of the natural world, unsteady and uncertain, illusory and ephemeral. Just as when we are immersed in a stream, we do not notice the individual drops of water - we feel "water". Over time, we do begin to notice distinct currents in the larger stream. My pinhole photography is an attempt to communicate the entirety of my surroundings - not as separate parts, but as that flowing wholeness. ...

Jason John - My interest as an artist is related to how people look back into his or her past to retrieve memories of certain situations. Depending on the situation the individual has experienced can drastically alter the shape of a person's memory and furthermore, a person's identity. As a painter and draftsman, I represent particular memory situations from my own life. Some or all of the figures are partially concealed by a vale or mask. By concealing the identity of an individual takes away the personal narrative and identity attached to the represented individual or individuals. My artwork is meant to represent each individual or group of individuals in a memory fragment that has been shifted and altered by time and situation. ...

Roy Villalobos - As a self didactic artist I find in art the way of bringing to light the deepest feelings of the spirit and soul. Art is a cleansing process that exposes the weaknesses and strengths that reside within me. I believe noble gifts come from a divine source. Thus I leave my subconscious to guide me through the creation of surrealistic metamorphic human figures. These figures become a reflection of personal experiences lived with all my relations who are searching for the muse that will bring about balance. Oil and acrylics guide my journey on the canvas. I do allow myself to be lead through pastels, water colors and mixed-media to create 3 dimensional sculptures....

Cathy Horner - Making art brings me great joy, and I believe each canvas is like a brief moment in an untold story. My collage art is inspired by vintage images found in old magazines, catalogs and books. I am fascinated by these forgotten treasures and the people who left them on shelves and in boxes in basements and attics for me to rediscover. By the time I find them the paper is yellowed and faded, mice have chewed the corners and insects and moths have made their holes. But these images are precious to me. I imagine the time when they were brand new and the dreams they inspired - of beautiful fashions or traveling to far away places. They are as fresh and brimming with innovation to my eyes as they were to the eyes that saw them the first time around. When I choose the images for a collage I am conscious that the final result will be whimsical, often surreal, while remaining visually rooted in times past. And it is my intention not only to stir imaginations, but also to encourage a sort of sentimental nostalgia. I use a combination of media in my work, including paint, found objects, computer ...

Laurie Ihlenfield - As an artist I find fascination in even the most ordinary things. I enjoy studying the complexity that light can lend to a grouping of objects. Dappled light shining through the back of leaves, or illuminating a group of reflective objects, or creating shadows in the bark of a tree creates complex patterns. The addition of light evokes mood. I am interested in portraying mood through close up views of objects and scenes. I sometimes am interested in inferring deeper meaning. At other times, I prefer to let the image speak for itself. It is my hope the viewer will find in my painting the feeling the original image stirred in me. ...

Renso Castaneda - From Peru, I have been painting about 10 years, I have always been mesmerized by the human form, my current work concentrates on the nude, and surrealism, and the medium that I use is oil. My interest is focused in the different aspects of the human relationship, the feelings, the emotions, love, and pain. When I paint I like to add drama by adding light and shadow enhancements to get more _expression to accent the theme of every painting. I have several collectives exhibitions and 15 solo show, I have been showing my artwork in South America, United States, and Europa (Spain) ...
