Fernando Javier Cantera - MY NAME IS FERNANDO JAVIER CANTERA, I HAVE BORN IN BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA, THE JULY 161978,MY WORK IS INSPIRED IN THE WORKS OF PABLO PICASSO MAINLY... BUT I LIKE VINCENT VAN GOGH AND SALVADOR DALI. I PAINT AND I INTERPREAT THEIR WORKS AND THEIR MEANINGS IN MY WAY. I PAINT MY OWN VISION OF THEIR WORKS. I DONT HAVE ARTISTIC DEGREES OR STUDIES. I A SELF-TAUGHT ARTIST. I CONSIDER MYSELF AS AN ARTIST... NOT A PAINTER. PLEASE BE WELLCOME TO MY GALLERY. ...

Philip Hallawell - I work in various media: oil, watercolor, dry pastels, pen and ink and mixed media. My work is a result of a fragmented view of the world, which gives it a surreal quality. However, my process is not surreal, because I start with a definite theme that I wish to investigate. My main area of interest is people and the human form and I am constantly investigating the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual aspects of Man. Over the years I have developed various series, which I revisit periodocally, investigating different aspects. In purely visual terms, what fascinates me is light and form and how I can use diverse visual elements in a complementary way, opposing, for instance, line and form, or rough and smooth textures. The use of diferent materials to achieve diverse expressions, either alone or as mixed media, along with alternating between a graphic representation and a painterly one, or mixing the two, is a very important aspect of the way I materialize my thinking into images. Equally important is the transition from very realistic images to a totally abstract means of expression and alternating between control and expressiveness....

Richard Young - I am a self-taught professional Artist, born in Yorkshire, in 1961, and now based in Reading, UK where I have my office and studio. Though I have always had a flair for pencil and chalk drawing, I graduated in engineering in 1983 and with a passion to travel, I initially pursued a career as a design consultant in various managerial roles with international design consulting companies, residing primarily in the Middle East. Nevertheless, an artisan at heart, I returned to Commercial Art in 2003, initially as a semi-professional artist and have extensively developed my own personal style and technique. I create all oil paintings entirely using a knife, often in a limited colour palette and mixing only on the canvas. The style of my artwork is modern, yet classical traditional and occasionally contemporary. The compositions are influenced and inspired by the realism and romanticism of my favourite post renaissance classical Masters and their timeless, romantic masterpieces. My artwork compositions mostly entail dramatic lighting and shading, in a high contrast. I simply adore light and am fascinated with its arguably undue influence on any subject. Predominantly figurative, I aim to capture a carefully composed aloof anonymity, mood, atmosphere, drama, ...

Ivan Pili - Following in the footsteps of the great masters of the past, the tradition of classical and romantic nineteenth-century painting that evolves into a figurative language relives in the beautiful works of art of master Ivan Pili , whilst the segno runs fast and decisive in the graphic ability from suffused values aEUR
Freydoon Rassouli - Creation is the product of synchronizing our energy with the universe. Once we experience the whole and recognize it, we become aware that we are nothing but the Divine Creative Force. I do not start a painting with sketches, I do not paint on location and I do not work from photos. Instead, many mornings, before the dawn, I climb a mountain to its peak. There , sitting in solitude, I observe rising of the sun. I watch plants open their leaves, buds tear up their dresses and the birds sing to the arrival of their creator. There is an interconnected serenity that allows all creatures to experience the divine unity. Having felt that creative energy, I rush to my studio, dip my brush into paint, and let it move freely on canvas. My paintings are inspirational for they allow the observer to experience infinite viewpoints and perceptions. They are not abstract for they represent what is actually more real than what our eyes are able to see. They allow the viewers to be inspired by taking their own perception beyond their senses and their surroundings. "Relationship" is the most important aspect of my work. I believe that dream and reality ...

Carlos Bruscianelli - ARTISTS STATEMENT. Almost all my work is inspired by Contemporary Realism Heavily influenced by classical realism and hyperrealism. My favorite technique is the oil on canvas, the genre that I practice most often is the Still Life, because of its infinite compositional and pictorial possibilities. As for my paintings, it is common for me to use elements that go unnoticed, some marbles, a piece of Kraft paper, glass goblets, a Rubiks cube, seemingly insignificant but chromatically interesting pieces of wood and metal with organic textures or created by the human being, who pose a challenge to be accurately represented for any painter. Currently my work focuses on the main elements of the composition, accompanied by neutral backgrounds, with the aim of the viewer fix their eyes on these pieces. My goal, like that of every painter of the realist genre, is to follow the long road of technical perfection, this is certainly a utopian goal and may sound like something very pretentious, but, constantly improving in every aspect of life is not a Bad habit, although I have many defects, being conformist is not one of them. Carlos Bruscianelli. ...

Alison Raimes - Blurred Edges is a multi media project exploring the boundaries of the contemporary perception of reality. Using intriguing and strange images created by photographing hand made models made from everyday materials, the photographs are morphed, manipulated and juxtaposed with the atmospheric, dense drones of sound artist, Red Fog

Alan Soffer - Alan Soffer began studying sculpture and clay in 1973 transitioning to abstract painting in 1985, through a breakthrough program at Bennington College with Sandy Stone. His abstractions have been in the pursuit of the unknown, unique, and personal depths of the unconscious. Rather than confining his energies to a single medium, he sensitively chooses materials that accommodate the concepts at hand. Early constructions were in clay and found objects, then discovering printmaking and photography, which he learned on his own. Finally, focusing on painting with acrylic, oil, and wax. Encaustics allowed him to marry a sculptural component to his painterly approach, following his studies at Ringling School in 1998. The hot, pigmented wax's inherent translucency perfectly supports his vocabulary for expressing space from the microscopic to the galactic. Whatever the direction, the work is always influenced by Joseph Campbell, the noted mythologist, who Soffer considers his mentor. He organized the first national encaustic conference in the US in 2005 and continues teaching encaustic technique as well as abstract painting primarily through workshops. Major one person shows have been presented at: DCCA, Wilmington DE; Borowsky Gallery, Phila.; Rosenfeld Gallery, Phila.; Widener U., Chester PA; Atlantic City Art Center; Robert Roman ...
