Artwork Description:
This monoprint on paper measures approximately 11 inches high by fifteen inches wide, or 28.00cm x 38.10cm. The artist used water-base woodblock inks on Stonehenge brand cream colored paper. The work was executed on glass and then the paper was placed over the glass. The artist next used a rolling pin to transfer the image in reverse onto paper. Another title for this work is Amish Wedding. The work was based on a dream and relates to the artist s work in his cartoonistic style. The work was hand printed and published by the artist at The Center for Works on Paper in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Please note that this monotype, a one-of-a-kind print, is shipped to the collector without a frame. This specific work DOES INCLUDE a black, archival mat. A sturdy cardboard box is employed for shipping the work. The matted print is first wrapped in two layers of acid free glassine-tissue and acetate and then placed between two archival boards. This is placed into the cardboard shipping box and then securely packed with bubble wrap. The price includes all handling costs, the mat, and shipment supplies, which includes the professional cardboard shipment container.
