  • Artists Describing Their Art:

Richard Beckholt - My artwork is very unique.I have spent most of my life developing the language of my work and continue to process and refine the course I have chosen. I work very hard to bring all the drama in color and design that I can possibly muster while remaining true to my initial concepts.I will not allow myself to slip into the realm of decorative art for the sake of sales. My art is honest and straight from my heart. Those collecting my works sense the emotions expressed within the stark images....

Lubomir Korenko - For many years and after all my experiences, I devote myself to expressive and abstract painting. I find inspiration all around me, in the natural landscape, people's behaviours and world events. I like to experiment with different styles of painting but at the moment my preferred medium is watercolour because of its independence. The colours on the paper blend and run together, creating wonderful and often unexpected compositions on their own. I also think the most important thing about my art is drawing. The line is an integral part within the structure of making art. My work always begins with line and continues, adding the texture of drawing to the painting. I always charge my paintings with some energy and I try to present a visualisation of my soul, flow of energy and strong emotions. I always tell a story but I still like to leave the door open for a viewer's imagination, so he can enter the world in my paintings and create his own stories. ...

Corinne Medina-Saludo - Corinne Medina-Saludo: Creating a Figurative Kinestesic Art The basis of the art of this french contemporary painteri?1/2s research is the " body-mind", or better said, "body lenguage": the painter using her inside physical and emotionnal feelings, as a medium, and also, intention of her art. In her painting act, a mental representation of the body is, at least, coming into the canvas, as a plastic element of of "painted sintaxis" She is a member of Taylor's Fundation of Paris, since 2006, and represented by Drouot-Cotation since 2000. She recently exhibited some featured works, as "Resurrection" in the Miami Museum of the Americas", ( 2010 july, International ART Exhibition). ...

Richard Wynne - Richard is an acclaimed International Artist recently returned to the USA. Richard has lived in many Countries. "The last being Thailland. He started his art studies at a very young age at the John Herron Art Institute In Indianapolis, Indiana and then later at the Art Institute of Chicago Richard has lived in many countries, painting, and playing music. Mr Wynne has exhibited in Thailand, the United States, Spain, Argentina, Kuwait, Korea, Ihdia, and other Countries. Sometimes perhaps I say too much about my self but maybe it helps people understand what motivates my work. For your information I've lived in 8 different countries and have been around the world 5 times. I speak a few different languages, some very well; others not so well. By the way I am not a workaholic as I don't consider what I do work. I enjoy life too much. I forgot to say I am also a weight lifter as lifting weights is my Zen. When I am troubled the concentration it takes to lift makes me calm. I guess my page will probably be a little different from what people expect. Sorry I have not been uploading new work as ...

Xiaoyang Galas - There is so much darkness and sorrow in this world. I no longer want to paint the dark side... I would like my art to be a contribution to the beauty of this world... I want it to be heart warming for all people... I would like my art to be a message of peace....

Stefan Van Der Ende - My sculptures are Solutions for Non/existing Problems . Now is the time to collect them. They are rare and unique ,and there are not many of them , also due to the big amount of time it takes to make the biggerones in wood and stone . They are made dreaming/thinking and working intensively , whith the intention to be able communicate emotion through their abstract/associative visual appearence which relate to subconcious processes in the human mind .(specialy mine ofcourse ) There are often more pictures of one sculpture , because ,as you know you have to see sculptures from more sides , to get a good impression .

Pedro Martin De Clet - Born: Brooklyn; New York. Raised:New Haven; Connecticut. "I am completely self-taught. & although I work in all mediums, I consider myself first & foremost a Painter. My subject matter is everything having to do with life. Love, hate, joy, fear, pain, happiness, sorrow, & everything in between. I Paint what others can't or won't. I believe that ideas are only as good as the content that embodies them. I Paint the truth. I have no time to waste. Neither the viewers, nor mine. I leave that to the pretenders & posers, content on ideas without substance & clean hands. Painting should be as real as the Paint on the canvas, or piece of paper; or what have you. I do not mean that it has to be figurative, but that it should carry the weight & conviction of a soul. Then if it is any good, the viewer will either love it, or hate it. & this is what I am after." pedro ...

Michael Weatherly - Art speaks to anyone. It can lift your spirits, provoke your thoughts and calm your emotions. A continuing desire to grow and express has driven my creation of original works - The past and the present connect. Creating a work of art is, having traveled various roads through experimentation until reaching the culmination of an organic art form implementing abstract-figurative elements that emphasize textures and non-conventional forms. It is through experimentation and the search of new techniques that I imprint my work with imagery that reminds us of the natural world. For me, creating is a liberating experience - I am always in a happy state even during the times when I struggle with the process. The creative journey starts with a concept - it's just me and the blank canvas, paper or object...my senses awaken...the process is a thrill ...I progress through stages...it becomes. Michael J Weatherly ...

Hajni Yosifov - As a traveler in this life, searching, I dived deeper into my soul's journey in order to discover myself. On the edge of abstraction I use elements from nature to express my feelings. My painted diaries together with my poems endeavor to build a bridge between me and the world. My recent work captures shreds of self finding the way to struggle back to wholeness. A new self. With layers of paint, I dare to soar where the highest and most ideal form of composition is that which expresses life. And I deepen where is no path, honouring echoes in a new light. Each painting is a pause in my journey, echoing life. ...all cascade from moments of realization; sparkles of light and hope. I'm a traveler between dreamscapes. I'm a pouring of thoughts on the irreversible passage of time. My painted diaries together with my poems endeavor to build a bridge between me and the world. The Dreamer Years after minutes, Minutes after years My life is changing colours Laughter after tears. Love embracing the Dreamer On a bright summer day, The life is changing colours Autumn early day. In a valley, ruins. An old castle...

Firdausei Mehraygan - Our thoughts emerge from primordial presumptions of things we see, feel, touch and experience that are stored in the framework of our mind, as waves, vibrations and molecular reactions. These sensory inputs shape our world It's an unreal phenomenon because, if reality were defined as the existence of an object as we perceive it, then reality is unreal, even science cannot tell us anything about the world beyond our perception. All philosophies break the notion of reality. If ends are determined, then mortal quest for matter is an illusion, making life meaningless. Conscious senses create illusions to veil reality, but in the mysterious abyss of the sub-conscious a sense that interacts and understands stimulus from an external world, guides us through an inner vision to the real purpose of life but Mankind has never understood nor accepted this eternal truth. Reality, I believe is a combination of positive and negative energies on the same plain, their friction gives life its existence and the opposing thrusts create the balance to sustain changes. In an effort to picture a thought, to unravel the unseen, I instigate reality by relieving conscious senses and a mysterious process takes me through a process ...
