James Enders - Alberto Ruggieri - Ruggieri works in two main areas: as an advertising and editorial illustrator and a painter. For the last ten years his illustrations have been published regularly in most important Italian newspapers and magazines. Ruggieri also illustrates children's books and produces bespoke book covers for several leading publishing houses. His painting are mainly acrylic on canvas, other time mixed media or acrylic on paper; in the last years he use the computer also. Derek Dey - Many times I am asked where ideas come from. There's never been any difficulty with that, because they arose one by one in almost linear fashion. The full idea for a painting would emerge in my mind as a complete mental picture somewhere towards the end of the painting I was working on before. From this, I would jot down a clear thumbnail image and pretty much work from that alone.
